ALL PASSIONS PENNED
For those of you who know my story
it isn’t really hard to guess
who they are who haunt these lines –
my dirty laundry, years of mess.
Though in an effort to be fair
admit - I’ve rarely mentioned names -
and tried to see the lighter side
of all but the very roughest games.
It’s helped to get it down in verse,
I never meant to kiss and tell,
just laugh at what life’s thrown my way –
too late I’ve found and now know well
tho flesh becomes words and tumbles free –
old, lonely and single, the joke’s on me.
